Ashtara has been a Reiki Master for many years. She studied Reiki long before the Angels ever started speaking to her or even working through her on the level that They do now (which greatly surpasses any Reiki healing system).
In 2007, though, the Masters/Angels told Ashtara that They would teach Reiki through her as well as channel additional information that is not provided in the standard texts that one typically receives upon earning their degree(s) in Reiki. So, from 2007-2009, Ashtara taught several classes (with the Light channeling through her) and trained many in both Usui Reiki & Seichim Reiki Mastery.
Towards the end of 2009, the Angels informed Ashtara that They wanted to begin training a few select people in the next level of healing. Thus, the Sound Current Healing seminars began. With the magnitude of this most profound training taking place in multiple cities and states, Ashtara's calendar stays very full. Because of this, Ashtara only schedules Reiki trainings upon request and when there are 10 or more people that would like her give the courses.
